# Creator Tokens

> The economic surface where creators become markets

<Info>**Status: Planned**: Creator Token infrastructure ships after Render Expand. **Dependency chain:** staking system → Render Expand (token launch + policy bounds) → Creator Tokens (full creator-level economies with cascade, governance, and buybacks).</Info>

## Overview

Creator Tokens are **Level 2** of the RNDRNTWRK revenue cascade -- per-creator economies launched with Render Expand that follow the same ARP / Buybacks / Treasury pattern as the network-level \$555 token. Each creator token turns a creator into a market: staking-based subscriptions, automated buybacks, and governed treasury splits align everyone who participates in that creator's economy.

  **Launch:** Render Expand · **Standard:** SPL Token (Solana) · **Decimals:** 9 · **Purpose:** Stakeholder alignment, profit sharing, and discovery via transparent, on-chain metrics.

## Core Mechanics

    Stake to become a stakeholder of a creator’s economy. Stakers share in the 70% Treasury and participate in governance of the creator/stakeholder split.

  <Accordion title="Buybacks (≥20%)" icon="trending-up">
    A minimum of 20% of every revenue unit allocated to a creator is used to buy back that creator’s token from the open market. Creators can increase this percentage to accelerate appreciation.

## Token Lifecycle

<Steps>
  <Step title="Launch with Render Expand">
    Creator initializes a token with basic metadata, initial liquidity strategy, and policy parameters (min buyback %, split bounds, unbonding).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Integrate with CTRL & 555 Engine">
    The token is wired to overlays, prediction markets, and reward loops to begin generating inventory and community activity.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Revenue Ingestion & Distribution">
    Ads, marketplace, and game fees flow into the Monetization Contract for algorithmic ARP / Buybacks / Treasury distribution.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Governance & Iteration">
    Stakeholders vote on profit split adjustments, buyback ceilings, and module upgrades.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Discovery & Advertisers

Transparent, on-chain metrics (engagement, staking TVL, performance) make it trivial for advertisers to select creators and collectives. Campaigns are executed trustlessly with automatic payouts and buybacks.
